Sleep inducing temperature
Suffocating creative thought.

Jump into a whirlpool
Its coolness such a contrast
An energetic centrifuge
That disperses all logic.

Dragging myself out
The breeze breathing over me
Sitting on a boulder
With my toe tips in the creek.

Tentative, tentative,
Let's not jump back in
Our body heat may warm the water,
And refreshment's what we need.
